CardSmart Announces Next Generation Legato™ Platform
MORRISTOWN, NJ November 19, 2007 - CardSmart Technologies, Inc announces the release of its next generation Legato™ platform for Marketing Loyalty Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
The platform originally debuted in early 2006. This next generation version is in response to client and end user requests, and results in a new streamlined efficiency with which data is managed and improves other internal components of the platform such as upgrades to the primary message engine.
New HTML Template Builder
One of the more visible improvements is the new HTML template builder. This allows sophisticated email templates to be easily created. NO HTML KNOWLEDGE IS REQUIRED - the innovative editor interface is as familiar as MS Word. Merge tags, images, tables, etc. can all be easily inserted and positioned within the template. A variety of formatting options are available as well. The user can quickly toggle between the builder, the raw HTML view, and the finished preview. CardSmart expects this feature to reduce the typical time required to build an e-mail template from 45 minutes or more to under 10 minutes.
Other new features in this release include:
- Text messaging and direct mail are now offered as campaign distribution channels
- Micro campaigns are targeted notifications that can be sent instantly
- Improved reporting with easier to read reports and better analytics
- Interface to payment gateways
- Campaign builder is now an easy four step wizard
- Additional options for processing transactions including expanded Point of Sale and terminal options, as well as, transaction processing through a common browser
- New features for distributors and resellers allow partners greater control over how they brand, configure, and manage their respective programs
